Superhero Night At The Iowa Children’s Museum

October 27, 2019 @ 6:00 pm – 7:30 pm
The Iowa Children's Museum

Your child can have a chance to be a super hero at the Iowa Children’s Museum! The Iowa Children’s Museum (ICM)Super Hero Nights at the Iowa Children's Museum is an amazing play space where children can use their minds, bodies, and senses to explore art, music, theories of how things go, and the world around them.

But many children can also feel overwhelmed or stressed with the daily excitement and activity in a museum. For families with children with autism and other disabilities, the bright lights and noise of children exploring the museum can also be over-stimulating. Parents may be worried that their child might have a meltdown, or they may worry that the ICM wouldn’t be fun for their child. To make this amazing learning experience accessible to all children and families, the ICM offers Super Hero Nights.

Super Hero Nights are offered for families of children with special needs

Super Hero Nights occur after regular museum hours on the last Sunday of the month from 6-7:30PM. This is a quieter time for families to explore the ICM. Admission is free for families of children with special needs on Super Hero Nights.
