Celebration!
Promise & Progress

Location: 221 E College St. (Across the street from Formosa)

There will be various Johnson County community resources available to reach out to talk with including: NAMI Johnson County IA, The Arc of Southeast Iowa, MYEP – Mayor’s Youth Empowerment Program Access 2 Independence, The City of Iowa City Government, University of Iowa Stead Family Children’s Hospital, Epilepsy Foundation Iowa, Uptown Bill’s Coffee House, Combined Efforts: Celebrating Artists, Changing Perceptions, National Federation Of the Blind Of Iowa, Systems Unlimited, Inc, Goodwill of the Heartland, University of Iowa Center for Disabilities and Development.

Thank you to all off our organizations for being willingly to provide support and sponsorship for this very important advocacy event to empower people with disabilities in Johnson County!

Awards will be given including the Bill Reagan Vitality & Terry Cunningham Community Award. Mike Hoenig and Keith Ruff will serve as emcees for the event. There will also be keynote speakers discussing the power and impact the American with Disabilities Act has had on people with disabilities serving as a platform, education & advocacy efforts✊✊

There will be performances by Combined Efforts along with activities for the whole family to enjoy!
